Since its formation, the organization continues to grow both within Ghana and Canada to support local development initiatives in the camp and transition to more sustainable ventures.

Always involved immensely with student life at Wilfrid Laurier, the opportunity to get involved after graduating from the Honours BBA Program could simply not be turned down. When he saw firsthand how the SOS model fundamentally changed the way we look at social entrepreneurship, it was a story that just had to be shared. Since 2005, SOS has attracted the attention of various local and national publications. As we continue to grow, we are always looking for champions in the media to help spread the who, the how, and most importantly, the why. Child poverty is a global epidemic which needs all the attention and focused efforts we can provide. The organziation is over 200 student leaders strong and still growing, but we are always looking to find others who are interested in getting involved. Find out how you can help spread the word.
